About Us
What a bargain! Over 300,000 (Zimbabwe) dollars
On a cold Saturday in October 2008, New Life Church members raised £350 for the Zimbabwe Rekai Tangwena orphans' village project, by selling items they had donated from a stall in Dunstable Market. Collectors from other stalls were among the first buyers as the market opened, with several pieces of china and glass and children's games quickly changing hands. There were books, puzzles, children's clothes, baby buggies, all sorts of bric-a-brac and even a bicycle. Church members were so encouraged by its success that they will probably do it again next year.
